A Weekend of London Outfits

I recently went to London with the girls for a weekend away! It was a brilliant weekend away! We did a lot of shopping and we went to the Harry Potter Studios, where the movies were filmed and created! It was a absolutely amazing!!

The first outfit I wore in London was a very simple crop top with high waist jeans and toms! I finished off the outfit with my green bomber jacket from Bershka that I'm wearing it with every outfit! The top and jeans are also from Bershka! I bought the toms in schuh last summer and the baseball hat is from TopShop which I actually bought on the Saturday!

Day 1.

My outfit for the second day was pretty much the same except for the top which I bough in Stradivarius. The handbag I was using was a brown leather bag from Topshop.
Day 2.
I managed to pick up a few new pieces of clothes for college and new make up!
They will be in blog posts to follow! So keep an eye out!

Independence Music Festival Outfit

Im back from my trip to London and thought I better get that festival outfit post up! So here it is!
Unfortunately I didn't actually get a good picture of my entire outfit on the day but I did manage to find a full length one somewhere! I kept it fairly casual on the day with just plain denim shorts and a crop top, styled with my purple hunters! I didn't really embrace the "festival hun" look apart from my make up really! But none the less heres my outfit

I put on my green bomber jacket later that day too!
The striped crop tom was from Bershka along with the bomber jacket.
Denim shorts were French connection, last years stock but could still be in stores for the summer.
Wellies were purple Hunters and the belt was also a Bershka purchase.
I also wore my Rayban wayfarers.

Hope you like this laid back, comfortable festival look!
London outfit posts coming soon!

Music Festival Make-Up

Over the recent bank holiday weekend I went to Independence music festival. I was a brilliant weekend! I went with a minimal festival make up look.

I wore my normal face make up but for eyes I used urban decay's half baked gold eye shadow from the Naked palette, I used that with Mac's fix + sprayed on the brush so I could pack it on heavily giving it a foil look. I then used a NYX lavender liquid eye liner to line my top eyelid. In my water line I use a NYX gold eye pencil and half baked under the eye too.

For my hair I just curled it with my Babyliss curling wand and pinned the front bits back at the top of my head. I sprayed hair spray in the top bits and added hair glitter from Topshop.
Outfit post will be up soon!

Summer Plans

I can't think of a better time to discuss summer plans than a gloomy monday morning, can you? Now when I say summer plans, I don't just mean where I plan to go on little trips, I mean what I plan to buy, where I plan to go and who I plan to do it with.

First place I plan to go is Independence Music festival in cork! Only going for the saturday but it still will hopfully be a great day and night! After that weekend I plan to do two plog posts one for my outift and one of my make up! I must say I am actually very excited about the plans for my make up and cant wait to try out a few new things!

After Indie things will be quiet as I need to start saving for my weekend trip to London with the girls! So in the weeks between Indie and London I might be purchasing a few small things for my trip away, stocking up on beauty products, maybe a new suitcase for my travels and I will most definetly be planning outfits for our little trip!

When in London we plan on eating and shopping loads! We also have a trip planned to the Harry Potter Studios! Along with a most definte night out! I plan to do A LOT  of shopping too. Loads of outfit posts to come from that trip!

When I get home I plan to make a big purchase for college! The new Macbook! Sometimes it feels like too long to wait, but juding by everything I have planned for the rest of the summer months before I start college again, time will fly!!

Apple Watch Love

Being a huge fan of Apple and I just couldn't justify not buying the watch. I had to have it. Well thats my excuse anyway...

But it definitely worth it! Because I like to run and exercise (and because it was the cheapest) I got myself the Apple Watch Sport! The silver watch d=face with the white strap was the one that I fancied the most. It  goes with most outfits which is brilliant! Eventually I'll look into getting different straps but for now I'll stick with the white.

I love the way the watch can be customised to what ever way you want it to look!
And especially when I'm out for a run I can customise the details it shows me, like my pace distance and heart rate!

The activity app is really handy too. I sit at a desk for work 39 hours out of the week so its nice to have something to remind me to get up and move around every so often!

I like they way changing the straps is so easy as well! They can be switched up easily to match your activities for the day. Messages come through on the watch as well which is brilliant as I don't have to pull out my phone every time I get a message.

I would definitely recommend the watch to anybody interested in it or interested in Apple products.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

It was my little cousins 10th birthday! For her birthday she decided she want to have an Alice in Wonderland themed party! So I made  loads of cupcakes for the party and a giant cupcake for her main birthday cake!

Here are the pictures from the set up and of the cakes.

Baking Diaries

In the past two years I have really fallen in love with baking. And for my 21st birthday in December I received the most amazing present! Every bakers dream: the Kitchen aid! I was given the luxury of picking out the colour I want so I chose the mint! Since then I've really delved into it especially with decorating my cupcakes and I must say I really have improved and am proud to share a few pictures of my most recent creations!

Here are chocolate and peanut butter Reese's cupcakes. I'm not a big fan of peanut putter myself but friend definitely loved them!

Chocolate cookie monster cupcakes.

Nutella and chocolate cupcakes.

There are many different types of delicious cupcakes in this photo. At the bottom there is Nutella. Then moving to the top I made vanilla cupcakes with multicoloured icing with marshmallows and ini eggs, next to them I have Lemon cupcakes and then on the right strawberry cheesecake cupcakes!

This was a red velvet game of thrones birthday cake I made for my boyfriends birthday.

The chocolate christmas cake!

And last but not least red velvet cupcakes with vanilla icing and fondant roses!

These are only a few of my recent bakes but I will be doing a post on an Alison Wonderland themed party soon!

Winter Wedding Style

I recently attended my uncles wedding and by recently I mean in February. I was just so busy the last few months between completing the final months of my degree and starting a new job. Needless to say things have been a bit hectic but I'm back and going to try my very best to try keep posting regularly. So here we go!

This wedding was fairly fancy so I knew no ordinary dress would do! As it was a winter wedding I didn't have many options with colour etc so I had a look on boohoo, misguided and what not, but couldn't for the life of me find anything that took my fancy.

Eventually after looking around I reluctantly said I would have a look in Coast. And boy did I find a few nice, expensive dresses and by a few I mean wanted to buy the whole shop! I tried on a good few swing skirts and crop tops as they are all the rage at the moment! Unfortunately nothing fit quite right. I then found one beauty that mad me look so slim and cinched me in at the waist. It was a dream dress.

The dress was bought in Coast Debenhams Mahon Point. I can't remember the exact price but it was close to €210! After paying so much for my dress I was worried about getting the shoes and bag.. sorry did I was worried I meant dreading! but luckily I found the perfect pair of Black shoes to match the dress in New Look Opera Lane, they weren't breaking the bank at around €20 and I just got a simple black clutch in Debenhams. I was delighted with the way my hair, make up and tan tuned out too! All in all I felt the outfit came together nicely! Although it did manage to snow on the day, I think it made it even better!

The Balm Cosmetics Haul!

I recently ventured into a pharmacy in my town and to my delight found they stocked The Balm! Couldn't believe my eyes when I saw them! I only picked up two products at the time which I felt were must haves for any make up looney like myself.

I ended up purchasing their raved about highlighter. Mary-Lou Manizer did not disappoint! It is a champaign colour that just makes your cheek bones POP! I fell in love with it the moment I applied it!

The second item I purchased was the liquid lipsticks in Meet Matt(e) Hughes. I got this colour in a shade called Committed. Its a beautiful Kylie Jenner colour which I also adore. When I wore it out it lasted right up till I got home! I applied it at 8.30pm and it did not budge for the rest of the night! Before I started applying my make up I applied a small bit of coconut oil to my lips and then when I put on Committed it dried in beautiful without leaving my lips completely dried out the next day!

All in all I was delighted with both these purchases and will defo be going back for more! I have my eye on one of their eyeshadow palettes which will be coming up at a later date! Feel free to ask any questions below! :)
